Denise Tenney graduated from Little Rock Parkview High School in 1977.  She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University in December 1980.  She taught band for 21 years, 18 of those at Cabot Junior High.  

 

Mrs. Tenney plays trumpet in the Jubilation Jazz Band and also plays trumpet and French horn in the music ministry at Cabot First Baptist Church and Russellville First Baptist Church.  She also plays French horn in the Arkansas MasterSingers. She has been on numerous musical mission trips domestically and internationally.

 

Mrs. Tenney has been married to fellow Jubilation Jazz trumpeter Mark Tenney for 39 years and they have two children and six grandchildren.
