Tyler Weaver is currently in his first year as a Band Director at the Academies Of West Memphis.  Tyler graduated from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  While in College, Tyler performed with many of the University's top ensembles including The U of A Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, New Music Ensemble, and the Razorbones.  Tyler was a trombone section leader for the Razorback Marching band for the 2017-2018 season, and he was a Drum Major for the RMB for the 2018-2019 season. 

 

Tyler has also performed with many of the top groups in the NWA area, such as the Fayetteville Jazz Collective and the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra.  Tyler has taught private lessons in the Fort Smith and NWA regions since 2014, where his students have placed in All-Region, All-State, and received Superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble.  Tyler graduated from Fort Smith Southside High School in 2014.
