Randall Played alto and tenor sax in the Warren High School Band program (concert, marching, and jazz bands) from 1959 - 1966 under the direction of Curry Martin. Through the years he has played with a variety of southeast Arkansas rock, pop, soul, and community bands, the Arkansas A&M Concert Band, and occasionally with the Stardust Band in Hot Springs.

 

He has been a member of the Christian Jazz Band Jubilation Jazz for over 20 years, including mission trips to Brazil (twice), Jordan, Trinidad, Mexico, and St. Kitts besides area performances in Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Branson, Missouri.

 

He also plays in the Immanuel Baptist (Warren) Church orchestra, and for the past three years has been a member of the Swing Band Reunion in Little Rock.
