Michael Ridgway is a retired firefighter, having served with the Cabot Fire Department in Cabot, AR for 28 years.  He studied Music Education at Arkansas Tech University and now resides in Russellville, Arkansas.

In addition to working part time for the Arkansas State Band Orchestra Association he teaches low brass privately for the Cabot and Dover Public School Systems.  He plays in his church orchestra at First Baptist Church in Russellville, and in addition to Jubilation Jazz, he plays in various other groups.
