Mickey Yeager began playing trombone in the 7th grade in Mobile, Alabama.  He attended the University of Southern Mississippi on a music scholarship although he received his BS in Chemistry and Microbiology.

 

He played in the praise band and orchestra at First Baptist Church, Cabot, AR for over 25 years and has been playing with Jubilation Jazz for over 20 years.

 

Mickey has been married to his wife, Nan, for 44 years and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren who he loves very much.

 

After working in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing industry for over 35 years, Mickey is now semi-retired and enjoying his hobbies. He states that playing the trombone is a way to relieve stress and playing with JJ offers another way to share God’s great love to others.
