JUBILATION JAZZ
Nancy Browning
Tenor Saxophone
Nancy Browning was born in Lonoke, AR and moved to North Little Rock during her high school years. She completed a degree in physical therapy from UCA in Conway, and that is where she also met her husband Charles. They both served (along with their five children) in the Middle East through Baptists Ministries for 29 years involved with rural community development and various other assignments.
After retirement she felt called to renew her music interests from earlier years. She completed an Associate Degree in Music and then continued studies in saxophone and piano for five additional years.
She currently plays with the North Little Rock Community Band, ASU Beebe symphonic band, and Jubilation Jazz. She also does solo performances and enjoys teaching private saxophone and beginning piano. In her spare time, she dabbles in oil and water color painting.
