| When the program coordinators of the Warren, Pink Tomato
Festival invited the band to perform again in 1998 they commented "everyone
enjoyed the group so much last year, could you play an hour-and-a-half this year
instead of just an hour?". This was a little frightful because it takes alot of
lip to endure that long on pieces this demanding. The band has been invited back
each year.

- Much of the literature is quite
demanding in range and technique and provides opportunities for creative ad-lib
solos. This challenges the player to keep up their skill and be as creative as
they desire. The band has thirty plus numbers in their repertoire plus patriotic
and some years include Christmas selections.
|
- Participation: Individuals capable
of playing at the required level, whose testimony will reflect the purpose of
the organization, may become a part of the personnel band that is alerted to the
performance opportunities. Participants are responsible for their own expenses.
|
- Intrumentation: Trumpets; Alto
Saxes; Tenor Saxes; Baritone Sax; Tenor Trombones; Bass Trombones; Traps; Rhythm
Guitar; Bass; and Keyboard. There is no fee for the groups performances,
however, contributions are applied toward the purchase of music and equipment.
